Premiere: narasslabone on ph_slide_urban

ph_slide_urban is a slide map by Phinx released earlier this year and it is focusing on some pretty and colorful textures featuring Pokemons, Dragon Ball characters and others. It was quickly 'attacked' by two players known by their sliding skills. The first one - rare (prev. Flores) finished the map with the time of 02:12.01. Only 4 days later, narasslabone managed to improve it by almost two seconds and remains the world record holder.

It's been over 3 months since the start of the public X-D map beta test. Six maps from six different mappers have been played in the servers and received a considerable amount of feedback since then. Therefore, it's time to release the final fixed versions and launch the voting for the best map!

Premiere: MEEL on ccn_make

ccn_make's history started with a World Record by bydlo (aka throttle) in 2019 which remained unbeaten for almost two years (this run was chosen for the ROTW #215 edit). Since then, the record has been broken five more times and remains a race between two players: LLazar and MEEL. 2024 time of 03:57.82 by LLazar (which was highlighted in ROTR #6 video) has stayed strong up until now. MEEL was able to improve the record by over 26 seconds. Impressive stuff!

Greetings, everyone! We recently announced a major round of updates to the website last week, but we've since completed another significant batch of improvements that deserved its own announcement.

We've just finished a major overhaul of the Kreedz.com archive, making it more complete, faster, and easier to navigate than it has been in years.

Demo downloads are back

Over the past days we've been digging through old backups, archives, and storage to recover as much of the historical demo library as possible. A huge portion of released records now have their demo files available again, and you can download them straight from the record page. Huge thanks to D2B for his backup.

Premiere: topoviygus on kz_kzro_roscbhop

As many of you remember, few months ago we have received a crazy topoviygus' special release newspost. Amongst many beaten maps, one of them will be a focus of today's newspost. kz_kzro_roscbhop, a map by Spider1 has an interesting roster of players who conquered it in the past: ShoCk, Dolphin, promax, puhmx, colcolx & Juby. Things were intense, but then 2023 world record by Juby remained unbeaten for over two years. topoviygus was able to improve the previous time by almost two seconds and so far remains the record holder.

Specifically, a dedicated ladderjumps map - kz_ladderjumps by Phinx! He thoughtfully reimagined the classic kz_longjumps2 style and blended it with lots of colorful graffiti and unique new textures, creating a completely fresh look:

Hey everyone,

Less than a year after setting the 259 block longjump world record, and the ladderjump world record with his 195, komi is back again with another major record. This time he has officially set a new 260 block longjump world record, improving the gap between propane’s second place jump of 259.564, as well as his own previous record of 259.923.

With the discovery and eventual mastery of the mouseslap mechanic helping to push longjump further than many thought possible, komi has now taken things to the extreme, parhaps as far as they can go.  While there are still a couple players capable of matching this, records at the very top level of longjump have become increasingly difficult to improve. Reaching 260 was once considered a distant dream, yet komi has now made it a reality. Whether this record is eventually tied or not, it's entirely possible that we have just witnessed the final block longjump world record improvement the game will ever see.
